In this animation we follow Daantje. She gets lost on her daily walk outside. We thought it would be nice if we could use sound design instead of music to tell the emotional story.
We designed different sounds to portray the different situations we come across in this commercial. For example birds for the happy atmosphere at the start. Low sounds like a busy road or thunder make you feel anxious, so we used those to reflect Daantje’s fear later on in the story.
Chip your cat
Imagine going out for a nice walk. Birds are singing, the sun is shining. Suddenly, it starts to rain and you realise the sound of birds has been replaced by cars passing by. You clearly lost track of time and you have no idea where you are. What are you going to do?
The Dierenbescherming catches more than 10.000 cats every year. Most of these cats aren’t chipped, so it’s almost impossible to find their original owner.
